Let Praises Rise

Good morning and Happy Monday!

“From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD’S name is to be praised” – Psalm 113:3

Day or night, rain or shine, summer or winter the Lord is worthy of our PRAISE! The sun is definitely beaming this morning and so should our praises.

This passage is an exhortation to praise God. God has praise from his own people, we see it in his many blessings. God’s name ought to be praised in every place, from east to west. Within this wide space the Lord’s name is to be praised; it ought to be so, though it is not. God is to be exalted above all blessing and praise. We must therefore say, with holy admiration, Who is like unto the Lord our God? How condescending in him to behold the things in the earth! And how amazing was it for the Son of God to come from Heaven to earth, and take our nature upon him, that he might seek and save those that were lost! How vast his love in taking upon him the nature of man, to ransom guilty souls. He takes men (generically speaking), by nature beggars, and even traitors (as seen in Judas), to be his favourites, his children, kings and priests unto him. Therefore, let us pray that those lands which are yet barren in many places around the world, may see the goodness of our God and witness our praise so that they can then produce many converts to join in praising the Lord.

Let praises rise from the inside this week! Let’s lift him HIGH!

Lyrics:
VERSE
Let praises rise
from the inside
From the inside of me
May you delight
in the inside
In the inside of me
Come fill my life
from the inside
From the inside of me
Set me on fire
from the inside
From the inside of me

CHORUS
Cos all I want
Is for you
For you to be glorified
For you to be lifted high
All I want
Is for you
For you to be glorified
For you to be lifted high

BRIDGE
Fill my life
till all they see
is you Lord
Glorify Your name
Fill my heart
till all they see
is you Lord
Glorify Your name
