Always

This Music Monday goes to “Always” from Isaiah Templeton.

“Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Ephesians 5:20).

This song talks about everything belonging to God, our success, our wealth, our growth. We must give Him glory always no more how high He takes us. Let us never take His praise and us it for something else; let us remember He is the focus of our life always! Always we’ll love Him, always we’ll bring Him honour, always we’ll praise, always we’ll worship. Let our relationship with God be always, never-ending… a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto Him.

Let us remember to praise ALWAYS, not just on a good day. Remember David when he pretended to be insane before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he left. David exclaimed that “I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.” (Psalm 34:1).

Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy Him always.

The key is: 1) The glorifying God 2) The enjoying of God

In the glorifying of God, 1 Pet. 4:11, “The God in all thing may be glorified.” Even as I write this blog and share my story it is God that is seek to glorify, not myself or how far I’ve come. My main objective is for God to get the glory, as it should be always. The glory of God must run through all our actions. 1 Cor. 10:31, “Whether therefore ye eat or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” Glorifying God consists of many different things like adoration or worship; it’s all about finding your own way.

The enjoying of God follows after our glorifying. We then are able to surrender to presence and enjoy just being with Him. Finding contentment, peace, and encouragement from practicing spiritual disciplines and learn simple, tangible insights into practicing God’s presence in everyday life. After all as John Piper simply put it, “God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.”

Lyrics:

The higher you take me just means more Glory for you
The more you bless me just means more praises to you

It’s all for you
It’s all to you
(x4)

The higher you take me just means more Glory for you
The more you bless me just means more praises to you

Cause it’s all for you
It’s all to you
(x4)

I’ll never take your glory
I’ll never take your praise
You are the focus
You’re the center of my life always

Always (x6)
